The Holstein Cow
The Holstein Cow Breed originated from Holland. Nowadays this breed can be found all around the world. Holstein cows are found in both black and red color with white mixture. A mature Holstein cow can weight around 700 kg and produces top quality meat. But Holstein cows are famous for their milk producing capabilities. A Holstein cow gives around 25 liters of milk everyday. This cattle breed suffers from heat and diseases in difficult climate zones and their production reduces. This breed is often crossbred with the Friesian breed which is called Holstein-Friesian.
