The Kalahari Red Goat
The Kalahari Red Goats originated from South Africa. Their name is Kalahari Red because their body color is red and the Kalahari desert of Africa. These goats require less food and do not get affected by deceases often. They survive well in harsh environmental zones of South Africa. The Kalahari Red goats are good for meat production. A Kalahari buck weights up to 130 kg and doe 90 kg. A doe can produce triplets and feed the kids with its milk.
