The Pygmy Goat is a small breed of goat originated from Cameroon. This breed is found throughout Europe and America. A Pygmy goat is good at producing milk which contains high amount of butterfat. This is a breed of goat with beautifully designed skin color combinations thus often also used as pets. An adult male Pygmy goat weights 30-40 kg and the female weights 25-35 kg. A doe can give birth to 1-4 babies a year and produce up to 2 liters of milk a day. Goats of this breed are capable of adapting in any climate.
